The Ohio University Police Department, a full service police agency, and The City of Athens Police Department have a mutual aid agreement and work tirelessly to address sexual assault in our community.

ALiCE Training
OUPD offers free Active Threat training to help prepare the community for an active shooter. Call OUPD at 740.593.1911 and ask to speak with Lt. Brittney VanBibber to schedule ALiCE training for your group.

FETI Trained Detectives
All Ohio University Police Department detectives are FETI (Forensic Experiential Trauma Interview) trained. They investigate with a victim-centered approach.

Blue Light Phones
Blue Light Phones are located all across campus and along the bike path surrounding campus. In addition, there are emergency phones at the main entrances of each residence hall.
